Q: What is the benefit of working out with a personal trainer? 
A: At Steel Fitness we believe the benefit of working out with a personal trainer is receiving personalized attention from a health professional with scheduled appointments to motivate you to reach your fitness goals. 

Q: Are the personal trainers at Steel Fitness certified? 
A: Yes, all the personal trainers at Steel Fitness have up-to-date certification. They are also CPR certified. 

Q: How old do you have to be to train at Steel Fitness? 
A: At Steel Fitness we train individuals from 12-99 years-old. 

Q: How often should I work with my personal trainer? 
A: Every client is different. However, at Steel Fitness we suggest most clients work with their personal trainers twice a week in the beginning and then build up to three sessions per week. 

Q: Are there monthly membership fees or sign-up fees at Steel Fitness? 
A: No, at Steel Fitness you only pay for the services you use! You either pay for one-on-one personal training sessions or group fitness classes. Babysitting services are complementary for all our clients.   

Q: What is the Steel Fitness cancellation policy? 
A: A scheduled training session at Steel Fitness must be cancelled at least three hours before the scheduled appointment to receive full credit for the session to be replaced. 

Q: Can I use the cardiovascular equipment on my own at Steel Fitness? 
A: Yes, you can use the cardiovascular equipment on you own, without the supervision of a personal trainer, whenever Steel Fitness is open, as long as you are a clint at Steel Fitness.  There is no additional fee for use of this equipment. 

Q: What is the Fitness Assessment Test? 
A: At Steel Fitness the Fitness Assessment Test is a health evaluation based on your current level of fitness. It includes cardiovascular respiratory, body composition, flexibility, and strength tests. It helps our personal trainers track your progress and design a personalized fitness program just for you! 

Q: I have an injury. Is personal training right for me? 
A: Maybe, it is best to discuss this with your doctor first. At Steel Fitness we have a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on staff to address any of your concerns and to design a fitness program that is right for you. 

Q: I have an injury. Is massage therapy right for me? 
A: Maybe, it is best to discuss this with your doctor first. Massage therapy is the systematic manual, and mechanical manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. Movements include rubbing, kneading, pressing, rolling, slapping, and tapping, for therapeutic purposes. At Steel Fitness we offer several types of massage therapy including: Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Medical Massage, and AMMA Therapy®.
